"Benefits of Watching Oprah"

Ooo, my friend Chrissy tipped me onto this and I just had to share, considering I stayed up so late tonight working on mine: a free photo book from Snapfish!
Check out how you can get yours:
"If you go through the Oprah site, Snapfish is giving out FREE 8x11 custom cover photobooks. It's a 20 page, hardcover book that normally runs $30. Clearly, I love free things, so I am doing it. But you have to redeem the coupon by Friday and order the book by Sunday." ~ Chrissy
I made one for Hazel's first few months and I hope it turns out as cute as I'm expecting.
Thanks Chrissy!

Oooo I Love This Man

My husband, the king of putting the wild toddler to bed, Mr. Handyman, and most huggable guy around got me flowers the other day:
There's nothing better than bright Gerber daisies like these on a grey November day!

What a treat they were to come home too, and just what I needed, as I can't say I've been having an easy time of my "job" lately. It was sweet of him to thoughtfully remind me he still thinks I'm doing ok. We sure think he is:

Tough Guy Part 2

Yeah, Quin doesn't like to go long without getting another great big wound to show off to the world and thus make us look like negligent parents. So, his newest shiner to make him look all the more tough while riding this motorcycle trike at the play gym this morning:
He got it while at our neighbor's "Motorcycle Scott's" when he bonked his head right on their coffee table. Papa was apparently standing right there and the only reason he could think of for how he tripped right into it, was that he was TIIIRRREEED, as it had been another no nap day. Anyway, I'm beginning to think I ought to just pin a sign to him explaining the whole thing so people don't think I'm a terrible mom.
Quin, being the tough guy he is cried some when it happened, but of course isn't bothered at all by it now.

The Forgetables

It might be easy to one day forget:
How Quin always answers the question of "Why?" with, "Right now!"
How he always has to have his 2 gummy vitamins give each other a hug and kiss before he eats them.
How Hazel gets so excited when she knows she's about to get boob food.
And how she loves to stand so strong on her legs while holding onto mama's fingers.
Or how when Quin wants two of something he says "Boaff (both)" and gestures with his hands like this:
which happens to be the ASL sign for "same".
We won't likely forget however how he is always kissing his sister like this:
We've got about a million pictures to remind us!

Little Slugger

Quin had his first real experience with t ball this weekend, Papa got him a bat and some whiffle balls and stuck them on a piece of pvc pipe. Quin whacked em good while appropriately attired in his Dunn Lumber hat.
Wait, aren't baseball and lacrosse both played in the spring?
Uh oh.

From Africa

October Moments

It is quite a process to go through the heaps of photos to pick out my favorites, but because I love you so Gparents, I have done it again for October:
