Had to throw it in cause she had to model it. Had to alter the first image though since it turned out dark, kinda like the result:

More Dresses: 25-28

More dress fun!
25:
While wearing a Mary dress (made by her talented Grandma Mary) H insisted on holding her baby which is herself modeling an old Hazel newborn dress!
26:

 27:
I fondly remember Olea wearing this one in the summer at backyard play dates.

Sunset Drive

Ah, what an incredible sunset we had tonight. I could tell it was going to be a beaut, so I drove H home from Gigi's where we had dinner, and took the long route. After she'd conked out,

I drove to Sunset Ave. above the ferry terminal to park alongside many others (which I honestly appreciated, knowing people around here love enjoying earth's splendor was uplifting) and attempted to capture the moment.

Though plenty of resting with my bare feet in the grass was done too.

Theo's Vacation Too

Going to the beach house is about the best vacation for man's best friend as well. He has so much fun on the beach, swimming, chasing birds, chasing sticks, napping in the sand, and such.
He's a good sport about my picture taking as well:

Tea for 2

I just adore birthdays and hosting parties, wait, that's not new news is it!?
So, we had another little bitty party for H with her little pals, a garden tea party here at home. It was just perfect, 2 girls, 2 boys. The bouncy house and lunch were just the right amount of entertainment for the kids. I made a simple banner,
made quick gift satchels for the mini tea set party favors, froze some pineapple flower treats (ideafrom family fun), and made some simple tea party foods, like H's favorite: corn!
Her raspberry adorned cake was from The Tassajara Bread Book.
It was sweet to celebrate with just the 2 year olds (all of these kiddos are younger sibs), and I loved the Mom company too!
Here's a little more in a slideshow:

Concert in the Park

We went to a concert in the park with Gigi this afternoon, it was an instrumental performance for a mostly older crowd. Of course my kids livened it up with their interpretive dance moves,

rolling around in the grass moves,
cute posing right in front of the musicians,
and generally making at least some of the older crowd smile. Looking forward to making more of these next year, at least the ones that might be more kid oriented...
