Meeting Miss Ada

Hazel and I made a little stop to have some pre Friendsgiving time with the Pekoz family to meet Miss Ada! She was a doll of course, and let me bounce her to sleep, I got a good baby fix, it was lovely. H and I had to capture some sweet baby moments of course:
She's a little brown haired mini Mabel!

I just hope we can continue to see lots of her this year!

Vashonistas

I thought H and I looked like we were "Vashonistas" as Dad would say, so I had Todd take our pic on the boat:

After H modeled her look on Tommie, and while watching some arrow shooting...you know...

Thanksgiving!

We got to celebrate at Tony and Carol's again this year, which was a treat for us since we love the pool, and they're so close!

Carol even got the supplies for the kiddos to make these cute little oreo and candy trukeys, they loved it!

As always, we left full, happy and full of fun memories!

Welcome River!

It was very likely the most incredible November day of my life, River's arrival day! I was on Katharine's list as a "kid person" to be there with her 3 older kiddos during her home birth, and lucky for me, Monday morning was the perfect time for me and I got there in time!
It was an incredible experience to be there, and Katherine did an amazing job especially considering Mr. River was born at 9 lbs 10.4 oz and 23" long!
Watching him grow and spending mornings with him in the next year will certainly give me a wonderful baby fix!

Snuggle

Papa said I might want to grab my camera and catch this snuggle in action, and even with the camera there they still held it, ahhhh:

Elizabeth Mitchell

H and I joined Anna and girls for an Elizabeth Mitchell concert at the Seattle City Hall this morn, it was so lovely! I love everything about Elizabeth Mitchell, but when she sweetly gave this little blind girl her own new ukulele after the show, I was so impressed all over again.

We love listening to her in the car, and her new cd will be a lovely addition to our repertoire!
Oh and it was a bonus to also get some sweet time with this doll while we were there too!
