We heard about this haunted science lab at Edmonds CC from some of Q's classmates and his teacher and we thought we'd check it out on Friday after Literary Dress Up Day. It was awesome! The kids were both really happy to be there (didn't hurt that Q's classmates ended up there at the same time and there wasn't a big crowd), and we all learned a lot. Not that my kids need to be told twice that science is fun, but really wow! it was!
There was an alien crime scene, a whole lesson on solids and liquids (Q had it in his class too!) which included balloons inflating on their own, tasting flash frozen marshmallows, exploding balloons and more:
There was also dancing fire, a tornado, goo making, wind demonstrations, rockets blasting off, more explosions, and even a candy rocket!
We had a great time and I'm so thrilled we had the chance to go!
