Our summer certainly couldn't be complete without a wedding, and lucky for us we were invited to join Todd's buddy Braxton's wedding down in Summit (near Corvalis), Oregon. We headed out on Friday night so the kids would sleep on the way there, and thus they woke happily in Vancouver, WA. I took them out to the hotel restaurant for breakfast:
The gloomy weather didn't phase them a bit, and we had a slow drive down to Summit which worked well for Hazel's nap.
Oh and can you just feel the love in the air once we'd arrived:
It was a suprisingly stunning beautiful afternoon and we all enjoyed ourselves.
The bride and her dad arrived on horseback (oh if only my mom had been there....;)):
Jenny's family's place was beautiful and filled with many many bursting with color gardens:

The ceremony was so sweet and thoughtful (and reminded me how much I want to revisit our wonderful vows and make more new ones every year):
The huge potluck feast and cake were delicious:
Their little guy Jai was adorable!
The music and dancing were incredible.
Quin getting his groove on:
Jenny is a Samba dancer and this band was amazing!
Here they are playing a special song for the couple and little Jai.
Hazel having an awkward first dance with a little fellow (one of the VERY many) her exact same age:
And we even camped that night, for the first night ever! And it went well, huge downpour and all:
Then, in the morning we had a lovely breakfast with the newly improved Braxton family. I shall complete our weekend adventure story later, but for now,
Papa and his kiddos:
