Papa's Day

 We had a fun Father's Day this year. It was full of love for my amazing husband and wonderful Papa Todd, and lots of little celebrations. 

The kids and I worked on getting ready while Papa slept in,

Then when he woke we had a nice simple breakfast together.

and then had some gift giving time, 

Q made Papa a garden tile at school

and hugging time too. 

Then we worked on painting the blocks we'd made awhile back,

with some Papa help.

Miss H took a break to do some finger painting, 

while Q and Papa sanded down the last one, here is the whole set now:

After nap/quiet time we went on down to our little spot for a family picnic,

We had a simple early dinner, and tasty (if I do say so myself) dessert of raspberry rhubarb pie, and of course got to spend some time with another wonderful Dad and Danpa!

The kids love being down there to jump (H is obsessed with flying jumps), swing, 

climb, 

race (and be tickled when caught!)

explore,

and of course act as giggling ankle weights!

We love our Papa and Danpa (and you too Pop Zack!)!
