We were spoiled as always this year to have multiple Christmas celebrations! First, was ours at home pretty early Christmas morn, then later in the afternoon my family came over and we had jumping fest and thrilled gift opening (mostly by Quin ;)) all over, and in the eve we went to the Owens' for Christmas dinner. It was a bit of a sketch journey getting there in our big ole' mini van and kinda slippery roads around here, but we were thankful to get to see the whole gang and eat such tasty food!
So, because of that very snow we didn't end up having our planned Christmas brunch with Gigi and fam over at her home. Lucky us, we got to have another "Christmas day" as Quin called it, on the 26th! Here is a photo tour of that day:
And yes, it even snowed again to remind us that it was still a "white Christmas". Quin was spoiled with some fun playmobile guys, the jungle animalz set, heaps of new clothes, great books and more from Gigi, and some remote control guys and a computer game from Vince, and his own UCLA shirt from J & J. Hazel also got heaps of new clothes from Gigi and a super cute whale puppet, plus money for her college fund from Vince. Mama was also spoiled with new clothes, while Papa was spoiled with tools! Thanks Gigi and fam!
I have to say the best gift of all may have been Quin and Hazel both taking a nap at the same time (at least for a little while), while we were there so we could get in some fun games of Settlers with J & J! We've been eating huge, tasty meals with these guys too, and our delayed Christmas dinner was no exception, yum, yum!
