Celebrating with Danpa: Adventure Style P.1

We celebrated Danpa's birthday this past Saturday with a full day of adventures! Not one to pass up free events, we first headed to free day at the Glass Museum. This was a good stop for the kids since we'd already been in the car for a bit, and they needed to run before our big drive. It was such an absolutely perfectly gorgeous day we enjoyed the outside spaces as much as the inside. The fountains,
the art bridge,

posing like a "statue" on the bridge
the AIDS walk,

Wait! That was unexpected, but we did enjoy our bit of a walk with the big AIDS walk happening there!
and the Chihuly's etc.
More "statue" posing by Q
We enjoyed the hot shop the most I think,

We were awed by the making of a tiny horse that was created in a mere minute or so. It was to be added at some point to the constellation themed piece they were crafting. While we were there it just lay on the floor cooling, and we all held our breath whenever someone nearly kicked it walking by.
The view from above is always impressive and cozy as well.
The kids were really into crafting their "dome heads" in the art area while Nami and Danpa checked out the exhibits.
Then we were off for the next adventurous part of our day!
