This year I took Q and some pals down to the Lunar New Year celebration at the International District since they had a birthday party they were all going to together right after. We had a fun adventure together and the kids really enjoyed the scene. We got to see the lion dance, have some Chinese pastries, visit the tropical fish store, get some face paintings, pet and vote for our favorite real rabbits, give hugs and handshakes to the giant rabbit, and enjoy the whole atmosphere of this special event! I'm so glad I got to take these kiddos, we'll have to go again next year.
And after all the fun downtown, we headed to Alex's Dino birthday at the Science Center:
