Honorable Mention

As another part of the "Celebrate Shoreline" events this weekend we went to the Sandcastle Building Contest down at Richmond Beach. Hazel was entertained watching the awesome steel drum band, Quin gathered supplies, dug and arranged sticks while mostly I built our creation. It was a flower garden, mandala sort of thing. At the end of the contest we got an honorable mention and a $10 coffee shop gift card! We were pretty excited cause there were dozens and dozens of creations down at the beach and many WAY more impressive than ours, and made by teams far larger than a Mama and two little ones. The "Zackey Buzzers" are definitely heading back next year with Papa and his awesome creativity!
