The Big Day Santa Style

Whoppee, it's finally here! We had such a fun Christmas this year with the kids both thoroughly enjoying all the excitement and gifts. We had the classic run out to see if Santa came first thing in the morn, the opening of a few gifts (like the big oh so obvious mini trampoline), kids' stockings, a break for our tasty breakfast of freshly baked pecan rolls, bacon and baked egg dish, and then the opening of the rest of our gifts from Santa and for each other. After Hazel's nap we all duded up and headed on out for our trek to Bainbridge to join the Martin family for a big Christmas dinner. We just missed our boat, but Q had taken a little nap on the way down, so he was all energized to check out the fire boat and on the ferry he and H ran around like wild little monkeys. This delay also gave us the chance to catch a beautiful sunset, and even get some lovely family photos. At the Ringo's we had a wonderful time visiting, doing our gift exchanges with Cassie and Dashel and our cousins, and eating delicious food! Here's a slideshow of our day:
