It was T week at preschool so our field trip was to the trout farm! They had fishing poles all ready to go for us and the kids were pretty excited about catching their very own fish. This was the Zackey family's first experience fishing and actually catching fish. I don't think I've ever caught a fish before so this was a little creepy for me to be honest.
Anyhow, Quin was fascinated. You could see all the trout swimming around in their ponds:
So the fishing and catching part went really fast. Barely time to catch a picture fast.
Hazel even got to catch one too!
Later, of course there was lunch eating, stick fishing, puddle jumping and chasing with preschool pals.
And back at home, we had fish for dinner! Well actually we had chicken noodle soup with homemade noodles,
with fish on the side. Those little guys had a lot of tiny bones after all.
