On the Twenty-Third Day of Advent

The ELVES came! We weren't sure if they were going to make it to our house this year, but they did! They stopped by to see if Q and H really do need any more toys (umm, which they probably don't ;)), and specifically the legos and playdoh they are asking Santa for. Those elves kinda made a big old mess knocking toys all around, turning over toy boxes and opening closets and cupboards etc. Though with the mess from the kiddos this morning due to excess excitement and no preschool it was a little hard to tell. ;) They also left a big red bow on the door to show they'd come:And a little note in tiny writing and a treasure of our first ever elf snow globe:
Gee, won't it be great if they come again next year?
This afternoon we played elves ourselves taking a walk through the woods to deliver presents to our good pals Marshall and Josie.
Along with some homemade treats, soap, a bird feeder, trinkets for the kiddos, and a Christmas book, I made Jo a little pink cotton candy hat with removable pin, and Marsh an owl stuffie.
The Roberts' gave the kids an adorable super hero cape for Q (which he donned tonight pre bath, so no pic yet ;)) and princess cape for H, a cute book written by Marshall for Q, and some really tasty bread and granola we munched on the whole way home! What great friends!
