Ok, so I'm a week late on this post, but I couldn't just ignore it! We had quite an "adventure to the sea" as Quin kept calling it. We left on Tuesday night to head down to Cassie's family's beach house in Seaquest, where we stayed until Saturday morn. Of course being the Wacky Zackeys' we are, the kids decided not to sleep the whole way down, but merely take naps, one waking to a case of car sickness, ooooo yuck! and one oooberly tired girl becoming one crazy tired girl by the time we arrived. So, Wednesday we woke bright and early as ever with 2 pretty sleepy kids, but that doesn't stop this gang from having lots of beachy fun. And despite the layers in these pics it was actually surprisingly warm most of our time down there. There was indeed lots of time spent on the beach, with some stints in Long Beach at Marsh's (just like Ye Old Curiosity Shoppe!) the theater, bakery and such, at the North Head Lighthouse, and of course in front of the oven and the cozy fire. It was a great change of pace for our fam, we loved the time with Cassie and Dashel, and eating vast quantities of delicious food of course! Here is the slideshow of our Thanksgiving adventure:
